From the moment he first heard his mother singing The Secret Garden, Cass Burgess has been in love with theatre. As a teenager, he spent his summers maxing out his library card with books on costume design, fashion, acting, directing, art, writing, and philosophy, and spent his school years reading plays, classic literature, and history books, all working towards studying theatre in college. He is excited to have graduated from Albion College in May 2024 with his BA and is thrilled to enter the professional world of theatre. He has already gained recognition for his SFX makeup design with a certificate of merit for 2AZ from KCACTF. He is proud of the robust experience gained from all of his Albion College theatre productions, but two of his favorite experiences have been acting as Catherine Watts in Censored on Final Approach and being the assistant costume designer for Stop Kiss.
